Mountain Lakes

The valley of count Janković is dominated by two lakes – two mountain mirrors reflecting the sky above Papuk. The average temperature of the water in the lake is 9°C. You can paddle a canoe in the lower lake and in the ‘water empire’ of mare’s-tail (lat. Hippurus vulgaris) notice many trouts, see the funny grebes, listen to the language of the ducks and notice an Alpine longhorn beetle on a branch.
